President's Message

Welcome to WHYY, Greater Philadelphia's leading public media provider, serving southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and all of Delaware for more than 50 years. We take pride in bringing our audience news when it needs it, entertainment when it wants it and education when it counts — on television, radio and the Web and in the community.

Check out our television, radio and HD radio schedules for program times for First, Friday Arts, On Canvas, Fresh Air with Terry Gross and Radio Times with Marty Moss Coane and to explore new programs. Watch television programs such as On Stage at Curtis using WHYY's video player or Comcast's on-demand service. Listen to radio programs such as NewsWorks Tonight, Voices in the Family and You Bet Your Garden online or take them with you by subscribing to podcasts. Even tune in to news and radio programs anytime, anywhere using a mobile device.

WHYY-TV devotes 11 hours weekdays to broadcasting television programs that educate and engage young viewers. WHYY's Y Kids Club creates experiences that stretch young imaginations and nurture the entire family.

WHYY and its NewsWorks.org, a news and information service featuring multimedia storytelling, participatory content and a network of content partners, are your sources for trusted regional, national and international news reporting. Follow WHYY on Facebook and Twitter.

More than half of WHYY's operating budget comes from member contributions, and contributions are invested in programming and services that enrich the lives of all Delaware Valley residents.
