Nancy Karibjanian is the host for WHYY TV 12’s
nightly news and information program, "12Tonight".
Nancy joined WHYY’s on air staff in 1985 as a
reporter covering the state legislature. She was named
anchor and news director in December 1986. With
the arrival of her third child in 1994, Nancy assumed
part time responsibilities so she could spend more
time with her family. She remains active with several
local organizations including the American Cancer
Society, Wilmington Montessori School, the Catholic
Press and others. A native of Vineland, New Jersey,
Nancy graduated from the University of Delaware
and now lives in North Wilmington with her husband ,
Joe (also a University of Delaware graduate), and
three children, JJ, Amanda and Maggie.
