New Jersey Area Agencies on Aging - Each of New Jersey's counties has an agency to serve as the primary entity responsible for developing comprehensive, coordinated systems of community-based services for older adults.
DELAWARE Delaware Health and Social Services Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities The Delaware Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities (DSAAPD) carries out a broad range of activities to assist older persons and adults with physical disabilities. The Division provides the Adult Protective Services Program, Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, Community Services Program, Delaware Medicare Fraud Alert Program, Delaware Money Management Program, and Joining Generations. In addition, the Division provides services such as information and assistance, caregiver support and health promotion. The Division also contracts with agencies around the State to provide many home and community-based services and advocates on behalf of older persons and adults with physical disabilities to create a broader awareness of the needs of these populations within Delaware. CARE Delaware - Assistance for caregivers includes needs assessment and care planning, organization of support groups and caregiver training, respite care, and community-based caregiver resource centers.
