WHYY Web Sponsorship Guidelines
- The mission of whyy.org web sponsorship is to provide an enhanced audience platform for our supporters while maintaining the integrity of WHYY across multiple platforms
- Web sponsorship on whyy.org will be conveyed through the use of web tiles in standard size (120 X 90 pixels), featuring company logo with link to website
- The following elements will not be permitted on whyy.org:
- Use of pop-ups
- Calls-to-action or superlatives surrounding web tiles
- Web tiles will be positioned below a heading that reads, "WHYY thanks our supporters" on each page
Tiles will be located for rotation on the most highly trafficked pages of whyy.org including:
- Home page
- Listen Live (to 91FM)
- 91FM
- 91FM Schedule
- TV Schedule
- TV12
- Radio Times
- You Bet Your Garden
- Flicks/Past Interviews
- Pledge
- A Chef's Table
Tiles will not appear on Children's Service/Kids Club web pages, unless deemed appropriate by WHYY
- Link for sponsor's website will be within a new window, enabling user to remain on whyy.org after having closed sponsor's site
- It is understood that, unlike FM or TV underwriting messages that are immediately heard within the body of a program, click-through views on the web are at the discretion of the web user
While WHYY does not have control of a company's home page, we reserve the right to reject any web sponsorship based on content or images contained on the web tile or the sponsor's website
