WHYY'S Delaware Tonight

Each weeknight Monday through Friday at 5:30PM, the Emmy Award winning Delaware Tonight brings local news, perspective and public affairs information to thousands of Delaware households. As the only broadcast television news and information program capable of reaching every household in Delaware, Delaware Tonight celebrates 20 years of serving the community in such a significant way.

While WHYY serves Southeastern Pennsylvania, parts of New Jersey and all of Delaware, our signal also reaches parts of Maryland via WDPB, WHYY's station in Seaford, Delaware. Principally, Delaware Tonight serves and is watched by Delawareans.

Delaware Tonight does more than simply report what happens. Anchor Nancy Karibjanian and the Delaware Tonight team concentrate on making sure Delawareans understand what's happening in the First State. The program provides a comprehensive exploration of the state's politics, lifestyles, health, business news and family matters; the opening news segment is followed by a series of specialty segments on different aspects of Delaware life or issues. A special weekly 'Friday Forum' invites an audience and guests to converse on a specific topic of interest to Delawareans.
