The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum
The Mid Atlantic Air Museum, located at Reading Regional Airport, Pennsylvania, is a non-profit educational institution that restores, displays and preserves a collection that emphasizes the Mid-Atlantic region's unique contribution to flight. The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum is a 7-day per week visitor attraction, closed only on major holidays.

For three days in June the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum presents more than 1,000 living history re-enactors, dozens of vintage WW II aircraft, hundreds of military vehicles, and thousands of period artifacts.

Called, "The largest and best WWII re-enactment in the nation - bar none," by the editors of Military Vehicle Magazine, MAAM's WWII Weekend is held the first full weekend in June each year.

The Battleship New Jersey
America's most decorated Battleship is now an exciting museum, open for tours, events and overnight encampments. Exploring "BB62" is experiencing history in a whole new way. There are exhibits of artifacts from the ship's past and visitors experience the exhibits on the tour route. Guests can sit in the chair from which Admiral Halsey commanded the fleet, stretch out on the bunks where the sailors slept and climb into the 16" gun turret and learn how the projectiles were loaded.

The Battleship New Jersey is a museum where visitors take an active role. From strolling across forecastle to climbing the original ladders up to the bridge, and beyond, each step in the journey brings guests closer to understanding what life was like for a sailor on the Battleship New Jersey.

Chester County Hall of Heroes
Chester County has been honoring its heroes through their Hall of Heroes since 1997 when, Tony Polito, a member of the West Chester Men's Service Club attended a Veteran's Day Ceremony at the county courthouse and realized only veterans from World War I were being recognized. The Club agreed to take on the project. Polito met with the County Commissioner and the Director of Veterans Affairs in the county to form a memorial for those who fought in all wars.

In June 2000 the Hall of Heroes Education Committee was formed and in July 2001 Chester County Government added the Heroes to its website. The West Chester Men's Service Club continues work on the Memorial and has been involved over 6 years writing biographies of their heroes. This summer the Hall of Heroes partnered with WHYY to share stories about World War II veterans in the region.
