About the Mural:
"I really like the idea of the religious procession. It has religious reference’ it’s about the church, not specifically about religion, but more specifically about the cultural happenings in this neighborhood. People who have come by and the people who live there will have the mural there to firm their beliefs and give them joy and affirmation in what they do, and what their past has been, and what the present is."

About the Neighborhood:
"I live right around the corner and it was a real joy to just ride over on my bike and begin painting. This mural was the most fun for me. I would take everything in stride and make this an enjoyable experience for myself and for the people who work for me and for the community."
