David Guinn

About the Mural:
"I liked the wall in the beginning because of the nice shape – the rectangle – it was this pure kind of house shape. It’s perfect square."
"It’s going to be a mural that on every level it is professional and is of a world class standard. In some ways I feel like this mural is representing myself to my parents, to the neighborhood, to everybody I grew up with. In the end it will represent me. Painting the mural is like finding out a lot about yourself."

About the Neighborhood:
"I think this mural is kind of hard because I’m painting it in the neighborhood where I grew up, and spent my whole life. I wanted to paint the mural in this neighborhood…it’s sort of what I wanted to from the beginning."
