WHYY Digital Datacasting

Datacasting is the process of taking computer data stored
in large files and multimedia presentations, packaging them,
and sending them over the air for reception at a PC. The download
speeds start at 2 mbs (megabits per second), making this a
very effective method of transmitting great quanities of information
in a short timeframe.
This service is currently not available to the general
public. WHYY has formed partnerships with several organizations
to test and develop this emerging technology. Follow the links
