| DELAWARE'S
MAYFLOWER: KALMAR NYCKEL
|
Set
sail with the present day Kalmar Nyckel and its
crew of volunteers!
The
original Kalmar Nyckel was one of America's pioneering
colonial ships, sailing from Sweden to the New World in
1638 and setting up a colony called New Sweden in present
day Wilmington. |
The
Kalmar Nyckel's historic significance rivals that of the
Mayflower, yet her story has not been widely told.
