WHYY forms the Delaware Valley Distance Learning Consortium, an alliance of 47 colleges and universities. That same year, WHYY enters the "information superhighway" when its establishes its Web site, whyy.org, allowing viewers and listeners to access information about WHYY-TV and FM programs and make a pledge of support to WHYY online.
