How long does it take to receive my membership thank you gift?
On average, you will receive your thank you gift in approximately four to six weeks after your pledge payment is processed.
If you have not received your gift or correspondence regarding the arrival of your gift within four to six weeks, please email WHYY Member Services at memberservices@whyy.org or call at (215) 351-0511, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday.

I just sent in my pledge payment. Why am I still receiving reminders?
Your payment may have crossed in the mail with the reminder. Sometimes, especially after pledge drives, it can take time to process contributions. Please disregard the extra reminder.

How do I set up automatic contributions through my checking or credit account?
WHYY offers a variety of convenient ways for you to contribute automatically from your checking or credit accounts. Please call 215-351-0511 for more information.
My membership is current. Why are you sending me a renewal notice now?
Over 50% WHYY's funding comes from members like you. Because you're so important to our programs, we start sending out renewal notices in advance of your membership's expiration. If you renew prior to the expiration date, your membership will be extended for a full 12 months from your current expiration date.
Why do you keep soliciting me with mail even though I am a member?
To save money for the quality programming you expect from WHYY, we print and send out renewal notices in bulk. This means that it takes several weeks for a renewal letter to get to you. As a result, your renewal gift and our letter probably crossed in the mail.
How do I get invited to member events at WHYY?
WHYY offers a variety of member and community events in our Independence Foundation Civic Space and at locations around the community. Members are invited by email and through the mail. Please help us save money by joining our member event email list
Is my contribution tax deductible?
Contributions to WHYY are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, except for the fair market value of any thank-you gifts received. We will send a thank-you letter including the deductible amount for each contribution you make.
How do I get VHS or audio tapes of WHYY productions?
Please visit the WHYY Store at www.whyy.org for video tapes of programs produced locally by WHYY. Visit www.pbs.org for PBS programs or call PBS Home Video at 1-800-255-9424.
