Can I make grants to support specific projects?
Of course. WHYY welcomes designated grants to support initiatives such as the WHYY 91FM Program Fund, or specific programs that are part of our five key service areas, including Arts & Culture; News & Public Affairs; Children�'s Education; Wider Horizons; and Adult Learning. Can foundation grants be anonymous?
Support for general operations can be made anonymously. Grants to support specific TV and radio programs must be disclosed in accordance with guidelines set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Public Broadcasting System (PBS), and National Public Radio (NPR).
How are foundation grants recognized?
Foundation support for general operations and projects is recognized in the Foundation section of our Annual Report. In certain instances, project-specific support may also be recognized on-air or in Web materials related to that project.
