Celebrations

Your day. Your story. Come to WHYY, a place where stories happen.

WHYY provides the most unique event experience for your celebration. Our modern design offers airy spaces with clean lines and distinctive architectural touches paired with cutting-edge technology. WHYY enables you to brand your celebration in a way not available elsewhere in the Delaware Valley.

Your guests will be welcomed by a personal greeting on our electronic billboards on 6th and 7th Streets. Inside, there several event spaces each with distinguishing personality. The Civic Space and Studio are fabulous for hors d'oeuvres and can also be used for dinner or dancing.

Our new jewel is the Commons which has made WHYY a destination for all types of events. Perfect for your wedding ceremony as well as dinner and dancing for up to 220 guests, this bright and visually dynamic space features a 35 foot screen for montages and live-feed broadcasting. You've never danced the hora until you've done it here!

Both the Commons and the Civic space include state of the art lighting and a technician with your rental fee. Capturing your celebration on DVD is also available.
