I'm a member because I get really neat stuff, like Applause magazine. I also use the MemberCard for discounts at WHYY Store of Knowledge and museum visits.

The biggest benefit is the educational programming. I don't know what I'd do without it. I use nearly everything that comes on your stations and Web site in my classrooms.

WHYY has helped my own two children and my students learn to appreciate cultural diversity and the value of education and knowledge. Now, they tune in to WHYY on their own, and they call me to say, 'Miss Lee, guess what's happening on TV12!' They're becoming lifelong learners, and that's the biggest compliment they can pay me as a teacher.
