I don't allow my son, Nicholas, to watch anything but TV12. WHYY is all educational fun. There's no violence. It's a positive influence on my child. Sesame Street helps him learn his alphabet, counting and colors.

After attending a Ready To Learn parents' workshop, I came away with great information about how we can use television constructively to educate our children. We learned how to improve TV-viewing habits by choosing carefully what and how much television to watch. I left the workshop appreciating how much WHYY cares about education.
