Washington, D.C.: A Tribute to Shirley Horn: 'The Music Never Ends' An all-star lineup of jazz singers takes to the Kennedy Center stage to pay homage to velvet-voiced Washington native Shirley Horn (pictured). Horn will sing, and be sung to by such admirers as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Sheila Jordan, Kevin Mahogany and Lizz Wright. 8 p.m.

New York City: A Great Night in Harlem: The Apollo Theatre Tribute to Ray Charles The music of the late Ray Charles (pictured) is remembered during this special tribute concert, featuring his close friend Quincy Jones, actor/singer Danny Aiello, pianist Kenny Barron and violinist Regina Carter performing such classics as "Georgia on My Mind," "Hit the Road, Jack" and "What’d I Say?" 10 p.m.

New York City: Pianist Cyrus Chestnut & Friends We'll take you inside the new House of Swing on Columbus Circle for the first live New Year's Eve celebration from the brand-new Jazz At Lincoln Center!
