National Gay and Lesbian Leaders Symposium National Gay and Lesbian Leaders Symposium is a 6th annual program in collaboration with WHYY. This program, which is made available to NPR affiliates, is moderated by NPR Radio Times talk show host, Marty Moss Coane. Distinguished panelists are Andrew Sullivan, author, NY Times columnist, editor and nationally televised political commentator, Elizabeth Toledo, Executive Director, National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, Kevin Jennings, Executive Director, GLSEN, and Tammy Baldwin, who in her second term is the first openly gay person to be elected to a first term in the US Congress.
