Gays and lesbians are the only 2nd class citizens in the nation's military. This 2nd annual program is presented by Servicemembers Legal Defense Network(SLDN). With militay witch- hunts and a Department of Defense mantra of "unfit to serve", this panel examines the state of our military and how we need to lead the charge for change. A discussion by C. Dixon Osburn, Co-Executive Director, SLDN and Steve May, an Arizona State Legislator, who the military tried to discharge when he outed himself on the floor of the legislature in support of hate crimes protection.
