Park[ing] Day takes over Center City September 19, 2008 This morning there are 23 fewer parking spots on downtown streets. Area architects, designers, and non-profit groups are taking them over for one day to create tiny parks out of parking spaces. It is supposed to raise awareness of the need for urban green space.
