Fate of Philadelphia curfew centers uncertain
Date: 7/21/2008 by Brad Linder Over the past 2 years, Philadelphia has opened 11 curfew centers throughout the city. The centers are designed to help keep kids off the street late at night, reduce youth violence, and offer social services to youths and families that need them. But two years after the first curfew center opened in South Philadelphia, city officials are wondering whether the millions of dollars spent on the program have been worth it. |
