It seems that there is at least one thing on the rise despite the poor economy. The somewhat surprising finding is that union membership is up slightly amid all the news about layoffs. Dave and Frank explain the paradox in today's What Are We Thinking? Plus, we'll take a look at ranking of the most Democratic and most Republican states in the union.
