The Y Kids Club!

The Y Kids Club is your family's passport to the area's best arts, educational events, and programming and provides year-round family-friendly events and activities to WHYY's littlest fans in the 3 to 8 year-old age range. The Y Kids Club regularly partners with area museums and cultural institutions to host events that open doors to new experiences, nurturing your child's creative spirit and emotional well-being and usually include appearances from your favorite PBS Characters!

Upcoming Events for Kids

January Meet and Greets at the Philadelphia Zoo

Join the WHYY Kids Club for special educational meet-and-greets with your favorite PBS characters at the Philadelphia Zoo's magical indoor TreeHouse this winter! Families will have a chance to meet Clifford the Big Red Dog on January 14th and 15th. Or come on down to the Zoo the following weekend, January 21st and 22nd and meet everyone's favorite primate, Curious George! Check out his relatives in the Primate Reserve and explore the rest of the wonders of the Philadelphia Zoo! Each weekend there will be a Zoo educator offering information for kids in addition to coloring and activities provided by the Y Kids Club!
