Official Rules for WHYY’s 2005 Jubilee of Prizes Sweepstakes:

Entrants must be 18 years or older. Employees and directors of WHYY, Inc., as well as their immediate families, and directors, officers and employees of PNC Bank, N.A., and their immediate families are ineligible. Winners must meet eligibility requirements in order to claim their prizes from the prize donors. WHYY, Inc. reserves the right to use the name and photograph of any prize winner in promotional materials. Tickets must be separated and submitted with official entry card. Only official entry tickets accompanied by the official entry card will qualify for the drawing. No facsimile will be permitted. Do not staple or band your tickets. All entries must be mailed in and addressed to WHYY Jubilee of Prizes, P.O. Box 820098, Philadelphia, PA 19182-0098, and must be received by WHYY no later than May 16, 2005 to be eligible for the final drawing on May 23, 2005. In order to qualify for the Early Bird drawing on May 9, 2005, entries must be received by WHYY no later than April 30, 2005. All entrants meeting the Early Bird deadline will also qualify for the final drawing on May 23, 2005. No entrant or household may enter more than 20 tickets or win more than one prize. Exception: The Early Bird winner will remain eligible to win one prize in the final drawing. Winning tickets will be selected in random drawings. All winners will be notified by certified mail. If WHYY is unable to contact the winner by certified mail, or if the winner fails to return the Affidavit of Eligibility within 30 days of the postmark on the certified mailing, the winner will forfeit his or her right to the prize. The prize will then be awarded to an alternate winner selected by random drawing and notified by certified mail. No purchase, contribution or other consideration is required to enter or to win a prize in WHYY Jubilee of Prizes sweepstakes, nor will it increase your chances of winning. Drawings will be supervised by the management of WHYY, Inc., and by Goldenberg Rosenthal, LLP, Certified Public Accountants. Their decisions will be final. No prize substitutions, for cash or exchange, are permitted; prizes are not redeemable for cash. Winners will be informed where they may claim their prizes and have up until August 1, 2005 to claim their prize unless otherwise specified. Vacation stays are subject to space and availability and other restrictions. Certain blackout dates may apply. All stays must be completed by the date specified on winner’s notification. Cash values assigned to prizes are determined by the donor and represent their estimate of the fair market value of the prize. All taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. All prizes are guaranteed to be awarded except in the event that a prize has expired, a prize donor goes out of business or is unable, for some other reason, to fulfill the prize after a diligent effort is made by the prize donor. In such circumstances, WHYY assumes no responsibility (monetary or otherwise) to fulfill the prize. Potential winners release WHYY, its employees, directors and its agents from any and all liability with respect to the receipt or use of any prize. Potential winners also acknowledge that WHYY, its employees, directors and its agents have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or law, regarding the quality, mechanical condition or fitness of the prize. WHYY is not responsible for fit, malfunction, availability or delays in delivery of prizes. The chance of winning a particular prize will depend upon the number of entries and cannot be determined prior to the deadlines. Based on the number of entries received in previous years, your chances of winning the Grand Prize are approximately 1 in 12,576. A list of prize winners will be available by August 1, 2005 and may be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed, business-sized envelope to WHYY Jubilee of Prizes Winners List, WHYY, Inc., Independence Mall West, 150 North 6th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106. The WHYY 2005 Jubilee of Prizes is void where prohibited by law.
