The Pinelands Under Seige
New Jersey's Pinelands National Reserve is 1.1 million acres of pristine, idyllic forestry, wetlands, and pine barrens is one of America's national treasures. Locals cherish the area for the peacefulness and serenity it offers for families, hikers, bikers, naturists, and ecologists. Historically, the area has been subject to intrusion from political interests seeking to remove many of the natural resources for their own use, but strong interests kept the Pinelands in local and state control. Now, however, there is a very serious threat to the Pinelands, motorbike and off road truck riders are challenging the preservation efforts of individuals and groups who seek to preserve all the Pinelands has to offer. Produced by Albert D. Horner.
