Quick Review: This is deliciously evil. It's also socially satisfying. Who hasn't seen some heinous character walk away from justice through the machinations of very rich, but utterly unrepentant lawyers and wondered if the system wasn't broken? Throw in Al Pacino in a part that not only permits overacting, but actually demands it (Satan personifies a larger-than-life character), get Keanu to underplay it straight, and give the sexy Charlize the chance to show that she can act, and you've got a neat little package. I also like the restraint shown in the special effects; it makes what's there more effective. Mostly though, I simply like it--moral and all--and that's what matters because, as Al says, vanity is his favorite sin.

Rating (on a four-star scale): THREE
