STUDENT VOICES ON VIOLENCE: ANYBODY LISTENING? A live, 90-minute, TV12 special, featuring high school students from various ethnic, social and economic backgrounds. The students will discuss how the Littleton, Colo. shootings affected them. They will also examine the influence that violent films, video games and music have on society and whether a similar incident could happen in their schools. PARTICIPANTS: Students from Philadelphia's Audenried, University City and Bartram High Schools, Penn Crest High School in Media, Overbrook Regional and Cherry Hill East High Schools in Southern New Jersey as well as students from schools in Wilmington and Newark, Del. 91FM's VOICES IN THE FAMILY host Dr. Dan Gottlieb and WDAS-FM radio personality Gary Shepherd, both of whom will facilitate the dialogue and help reach a resolution.

TOPIC: STUDENT VOICES ON VIOLENCE: ANYBODY LISTENING? is designed to give area teens a forum to discuss and debate among themselves the recent acts of violence that have occurred in American schools.
BROADCAST: The program airs live on TV12, Thursday, May 6 at 4:30 p.m. and on WITF in Harrisburg, PA and WQLN in Erie, PA. Videotapes will be made available for those wishing to use the program to prompt similar forums in local churches, schools and community organizations.
