And the winner is....

Winner Named in "Roadshow and Tell" Contest
A Marmora, N.J., woman has been named the winner of WHYY's "Roadshow and Tell" Contest.

Karen Kersey Tangney's video shows a bust of Cleopatra her great-great-great-grandfather created in the 1870s and other small sculptures. Tangney's submission best met the criteria called for in the contest, said Dave Mozeleski, WHYY Promotions Manager. Tangney effective described the history of the work, how she acquired it and what it means to her, he said.

The recording of three episodes of Antiques Roadshow in Atlantic City on June 6 presents an opportunity for WHYY to build its audience, membership, volunteer and corporate underwriting bases in a fruitful geographic area. It's a boon that a South Jersey woman is the winner of the contest.

Tangney will receive tickets to attend the Antiques Roadshow recording and VIP treatment. And if she hasn't done so, she can finally find out what that prized family heirloom can fetch. Check out Tangney's video »
