- 1:00 p.m. WORKSHOPS on spoken word language, activism, women's roles and
hip hop with well-known Philadelphia poets Yellow Rage, Walidah Imarisha, The Twin Poets and Stephanie Renee.
- 3:45 p.m. PANEL DISCUSSION engaging all participants
- 6:00 p.m. SHOWCASE of some of the best spoken word, rap and poetry by local teens.
Poets, writers and mc's who want to present their work on stage should sign up in person at WHYY between 1 and 5 pm. Limited to first 25 participants.

Proper I.D. Required: Poetic License for Teens is open to all, but especially recommended for everyone ages 13-19.
