The Preview Gala kicks off the festivites this year and is scheduled for April 11, 2008.

The 47th annual Philadelphia Antiques Show features 50 leading antiques dealers and galleries who continue to set the standard for outstanding quality and integrity. These exhibitors will bring together the finest examples available today including period furniture, folk and fine art, ceramics, porcelain, silver, jewelry and textiles. The 2008 Loan Exhibit will feature Maritime Antiques, with a special emphasis on pieces made and used in the Philadelphia region. The 2008 Loan is curated by Independence Seaport Museum.

This year the Show is in a brand new location, The Navy Yard, located at 5100 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, just past the city’s popular Sports Complex. The Show will be housed within the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal at Pier One of the Philadelphia Naval Business Center, which is a renovated naval iron plating factory, built in 1874. Fully air conditioned, this sunlit space offers 40,000 square feet of exhibition space with ample parking and easy access to I-95 and I-76.
