WHYY's Workforce Development Services are designed for the busy professional looking to sharpen his/her skills in areas such as leadership, negotiation, project management, and sales and customer service among others. Courses are available for licensing to your organization or in some instances on a per person basis at the WHYY Technology Center at 150 North Sixth Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19106
Spring 2000 programs include live interactive satellite seminars, as well as pre-recorded courses available on videotape or on CD-ROM. Companies not satellite-equipped can rent one of WHYY's two mobile satellite trucks in order to receive satellite courses, or in some cases can utilize existing videoconferencing equipment. WHYY can answer any of your technology questions and advise you how best to bring our outstanding workforce training programming to your place of business.
WHYY's currently scheduled Spring 2000 live interactive satellite programs:
- Lunch and Learn, five 2-hour courses covering leadership, employee retention, managing difficult people, effective communication skills, and diversity, beginning on March 16, 2000.
- E-Leadership, new strategies for leading your business in the e-commerce era, a three-part series featuring Rosabeth Moss Kantor, Robert Davis, and Stan Davis begins April 13, 2000.
- Emerging Managers, a 4-part certificate series covering leadership, negotiation, project management, and coaching starts on May 9, 2000.
