WHYY Homemade Fast Food Cooking Demos
Saturdays, January 13, 20, 27 and February 3, 2001
With today's hectic schedules, many people do not have time to sit down to healthy, home-cooked meals. That's why WHYY is bringing together local culinary experts for Homemade Fast Food Cooking Demonstrations, a four-part series designed to help busy folks learn basic techniques for quick and easy healthy cooking. In addition to each session's food preparation there will be many tips for making cooking a fun experience. Basic pantry inventory will be covered, Chef Joseph Shilling (Director, School of Culinary Arts) will demonstrate good knife skills, and recipes with nutrition analyses will be available.
The format for each Saturday:
9:30am - 10:00am refreshments & registration
