Jim Coleman, Executive Chef at Normandy Farm and Coleman Restaurant joins Max Hansen, the creative force behind Max & Me catering, for a one-night-only gourmet organic foods festival.

These two celebrity chefs and authors will create a four-course dinner in the historical and palatial surroundings of the New National Constitution Center, which tells the story of the U.S. Constitution through its educational and creative exhibits, which will be open for your exploration.

Your gourmet evening seated in the Grand Hall Overlook of the center will include the following:

  • Passed hors d'oeuvres featuring Max's Famous Smoked Salmon
  • A selection of three 1st courses such as a Trio of Sausages with Cottage Cheese Spaetzle
  • Three 2nd course choices including "Chester Clam Soup" of Potatoes, Clams, and Light Goats Milk with Homemade Pretzel Sticks
  • A choice of four delicious entree selections including a Bourbon and Lavender Honey Pork Rib Roast
  • A delectable dessert - the "Flavors of America" Sampler Plate.

$65 plus tax and gratuities (cash bar). WHYY members present your MemberCard for a complimentary glass of wine. Master Card, Visa and American Express, Checks or Cash accepted.
