Before the terrorist attacks and before the anthrax scare, America was in the throes of a national anxiety disorder. Now it is worse. Last year, doctors reported half of their office visits were for anxiety related disorders. Despite a robust economy and relative peace on earth, the number of anxiety disorders continued to climb. Over half of all Americans have symptoms of sleep disorder, while sales of security systems increase every year. All this before September 11th. We will talk about why this is happening and what needs to be done.
