Enjoy a preview screening of American Family: Journey of Dreams, public television's acclaimed drama series chronicling the multigenerational saga of the Gonzalez family. The series interweaves their courageous escape from the Mexican Revolution with the sacrifices the family made in the 1990s to send their first-born to medical school and the consequences as seen through the war in Iraq. The screening will be followed by a discussion led by WHYY-FM News Director Elisabeth Perez-Luna about issues raised in the program.
