Allentown Art Museum
National Geographic: The Art of Exploration

Allentown Art Museum celebrates the 120th anniversary of National Geographic with an exhibit organized by the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. "National Geographic: The Art of Exploration," features more than one hundred original works selected from the thousands commissioned and published by the magazine, through May 25 at 31 N. 5th Street, Allentown, PA. The 5th Annual Trenton Film Festival is May 2-4, including 80 films - feature length, independent, foreign, documentary & short films in various downtown Trenton venues.


Opening this weekend at Storybook Musical Theatre is "Princess and the Pea," through May 9 at Bluett Theater, St. Joseph's University, 54th and Overbrook Avenue, Philadelphia and then through July 26 at Mitchell Performing Arts Center in Bryn Athyn, PA.


Touchstone Theatre presents the 3rd Annual Young Playwrights' Festival May 3, 7pm, featuring original works by elementary and middle school students, at Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA.


Singing City's 60th Anniversary Concert is Sunday, May 4, 4pm, with Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, performed with a 29 piece orchestra, at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, 625 Montgomery Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA.


Philadanco performs a program of new and old works, including a world premiere by Christopher Huggins, May 8-11 at the Kimmel Center, Philadelphia.
