Pennsylvania Library Association honors Y Kids Club

One of the best things about becoming a Y Kids Club member is the opportunity to attend awesome events, including meet-and-greets with characters from your favorite WHYY children's television shows, share-a-story programs and exciting sporting events!

This year, the Pennsylvania Library Association honored the Y Kids Club with its Best Practices Award (Family Program Event Group) for the Caillou Share-a-Story event at the Free Library of Philadelphia in November 2003! More than 120 WHYY families attended the Y Kids Club breakfast, during which children shared stories, did crafts and played games, and 400 people participated in "Storytime with Caillou," a live show which was open to the public.
