Exploring This American Life
Ira Glass, host and producer of public radio's This American Life (Sundays at noon and Thursdays at 10 p.m. on 91FM) will speak at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey on Sunday, April 18 at 2 p.m. Glass has won acclaim for creating the program's unique four-act format that mixes monologues and documentaries with fictional works and musical selections. Cyberchase Mystery Tour
WHYY invites kids and their families to participate in a day of sleuthing at the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences on Saturday, April 24 beginning at 11 a.m.! Cyberchase characters Digit, Harry and Bianca will perform live before leading kids deep into the "Eco-Haven Forest" to search for a mysterious "cybersaur." WHYY members receive 2-for-1 tickets to the museum (some restrictions apply). Y Kids Club members also have the opportunity to meet the characters before the event!
