Clifford wasn't always a big red dog -- once upon a time he was a small red puppy! Now his fans can experience all the fun Clifford had before he became the biggest dog ever in this new animated series about the lovable pup's early years.

Premiering as part of the WHYY Kids "Pet-tacular" event, the series follows Clifford's adventures with Emily Elizabeth, introduces a new cast of characters, teaches preschoolers important "Ideas to Grow On" and demonstrates that you don't have to be big to have a huge heart.

Twin TowersNew York: The Center of the World
On the second anniversary of the September 11 tragedies, American Experience takes a revealing look at the history of the twin towers of the World Trade Center.

In the eighth episode of the award-winning film New York: A Documentary Film, director Ric Burns charts the literal rise and fall of the famous towers, from their post-World War II conception to their catastrophic collapse in 2001 and the remarkable response of New York City in the aftermath.

Constitution Day
Taped live in Kirby Auditorium at Philadelphia's new National Constitution Center, The First Amendment in the New Millennium examines important issues such as the right to privacy in the face of national security concerns and free expression in a new technological age.

Moderated by NPR's Michele Norris, co-host of All Things Considered, the special forum features a distinguished panel of guests, including First Amendment expert Floyd Abrams and former U.S. Solicitor General Seth P. Waxman.

Martin ScorceseThe Blues
In this new series executive produced by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Martin Scorsese, seven acclaimed directors, including Wim Wenders (Buena Vista Social Club), Mike Figgis (Leaving Las Vegas) and Clint Eastwood (Unforgiven), examine the roots and evolution of blues music from their own unique perspectives.

In the premiere episode "Feel Like Going Home," Scorsese traces the origins of the blues from the banks of the Niger River in Africa to the cotton fields, churches and juke joints along the Mississippi River Delta.
