WHYY to honor Governor Ed Rendell at second annual President's Dinner

Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell will receive the WHYY Lifelong Learning Award during the second annual WHYY President's Dinner on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at the Technology Center in Philadelphia.

Each year, WHYY presents this award to a citizen of the Delaware Valley who demonstrates leadership and devotion to our community and who facilitates lifelong learning opportunities for people from all walks of life within the region. Last year's recipient was Charles P. Pizzi.

We hope you join us as we celebrate Governor Rendell's many achievements. There are many ways for individuals and organizations to help honor the governor. Net proceeds from the dinner support WHYY's lifelong learning initiatives.
