Dragon TalesA new special offers musical fun for everyone
By Jennifer Fletcher

Kids will want to dance and sing along to the new, music-filled special Dragon Tales: Let's Start a Band, airing Tuesday, March 4 at 2:30 p.m. on WHYY TV12.

The fun begins when Sara, her little brother Joey and their babysitter Nina turn the whole neighborhood into an all-star band. The special, which is part animation and part live action, features animated sequences starring dragons Zak & Wheezie, Cassie and Ord and guest performances by singer-songwriter Eryka Badu and children's musician Dan Zanes, who teach the kids how easy and how much fun it is to make music.

The special also features 15 favorite songs from the Dragon Tales series, including "Be a Dragon" and "The Silly Song."

During the weeks of March 2 and 9, WHYY will air popular kids' programs in special five-episode blocks. Check the listings below for dates and times. The regular weekday schedule resumes Monday, March 17.
