  • February 8 "Words and Music" Chuck Berry, Gillian Welch and novelist Nick Hornby look at the relationship between language and sounds.
  • February 15 "Off The Record" Nick Spitzer examines unheard music and stories.
  • February 22 "Streetbeats" The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Cuban bandleader Cachao, and Savion Glover perform.

Afropop Worldwide
Hosted by Georges Collinet, the program weaves the sounds of Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas with lively interviews and insightful stories of world-class musicians. Zimbabwe's Thomas Mapfumo and Senegal's Youssou N'Dour are just two of the artists who been featured. Saturdays at 11 p.m.
