Women, Money and Social Change
In this special Womens Way forum, a panel of philanthropic and community leaders discuss how current women's issues and organizations are faring in terms of charitable giving and examine how women spend and invest money and how they contribute to charitable and political causes.

Melissa Weiler Gerber, Executive Director of Womens Way, and Lynn Yeakel, Chair of Womens Way 25, moderate the discussion, which was the final forum held as part of "A Celebration of Change," a year-long celebration commemorating the 25th anniversary of Womens Way. Friday, January 24 (Part 1) and Friday, January 31 (Part 2) at 9 p.m.

We Were Here
This two-hour special blends words and music to create a moving audio tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Hosted by Lee Hay, the program features excerpts from Dr. King's speeches and essays, including his powerful "Birmingham" and "I Have a Dream" speeches, interwoven with the works of vocal ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock; poet and playwright Nikki Giovanni; Black Panther Bobby Seale; and gospel singer Mahalia Jackson.

Listeners will also hear Billie Holliday's haunting "Strange Fruit," John Coltrane's "Alabama" and songs from Al Green, Earl King, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Wynton Marsalis. Monday, January 20 at noon and 9 p.m.

The program showcases music and performers from the British Isles, North America and beyond. Saturdays at 8 p.m.
