TV12 Movie of the Month
Christmas in Connecticut (1945) This lighthearted comedy stars Barbara Stanwyck as Elizabeth Lane, a popular advice columnist who describes herself as a hardworking farm woman, an excellent cook and a mother. In reality, she is a single New Yorker who can't even boil an egg. When her publisher suggests that she play host to a war veteran at her Connecticut home during the holidays as a publicity stunt, Elizabeth must find a way to become a domestic goddess or risk losing her job. Saturday, December 21 at 9 p.m.
