Radio Spotlights
SkyTour
This month, Derrick Pitts, Chief Astronomer at the Franklin Institute Science Museum, and 91FM's Dave Heller share ideas for "Home-Brewed Astronomy Activities" -- including making your own telescope, discovering a comet and keeping track of exploding stars -- and generally help listeners make sense of the night sky.
You can listen to the show on your radio in your own backyard or join Derrick and Dave live under the Milky Way at Abington Senior High School. For more information, visit www.whyy.org/skytour.

Continuing Changes in Pursuit of Justice for Women
Presented by Womens Way and 91FM, this educational forum explores laws that hold out these promises for women: child support will be enforced; child custody disputes fair; divorce settlements equitable and protection from abuse orders just.
The second of three Womens Way forums addressing women's issues on 91FM, the program examines the complexities and challenges facing Family Courts, the place where many life-altering decisions are made. For more information, visit www.womensway.org/ww25.

Life Stories
Hosted by Alex Chadwick, each program in the series contains several similarly themed stories and presents a variety of reflections on the human experience. On May 17, the program looks at families, women and children with stories such as Concerning Breakfast, about eating (and not eating), family, love and hospitals. Sons and brothers are the focus on May 24. In Dad's Moving Out, a son remembers the moment he knew for sure that his parents were splitting up.
Fridays at 10 p.m. beginning May 17.
