WHYY to host technology conference

WHYY will co-host the conference "T-Learning: The Promises and Pitfalls of Applying Technology to Learning" on Wednesday, April 24 from 12:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Technology Center.

Made possible through WHYY's partnership with the Greater Philadelphia chapter of ASTD, a premier association for workplace learning and performance issues, the conference includes presentations, a unique vendor fair, networking and round-table discussions about the pros and cons of technology in distance learning and employee development. Participants can pose questions to keynote speaker Elliott Masie of The MASIE Center via telephone during a live question-and-answer session.

Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap and Others Don't featuring Jim Collins Jim Collins, author of the best-selling book Built to Last, discusses how good companies can grow and attain superior performance.
