Doctors, nurses and other experts from MCP Hahnemann University discuss women's evolving role, current status and future challenges in the area of health care in this special forum presented by Womens Way, an organization which funds women's services and advocacy programs throughout the Delaware Valley.
The first of three Womens Way forums addressing women's issues this program explores reproductive health, the impact of domestic violence and the top diseases affecting women today.

To Cherish the Life of the World: 100 Years of Margaret Mead
Host Diane Rehm and various scholars examine the life and groundbreaking work of 20th-century anthropologist Margaret Mead in this two-part special commemorating the centennial of her birth.
Experts and contemporary anthropologists discuss the lasting contributions of this controversial American icon, Mead's daughter shares personal memories of her mother and Mead's own voice is heard in clips from her public appearances.

Two Crazy College Specials
Kathy O'Connell, host of Kids Corner on WXPN (88.5), joins George Stewart for a light-hearted salute to "Women of the Novelty Song." They celebrate women, including Beatrice Lilly, Elsa Lanchester and Mae West, who performed odd, silly and now-forgotten songs on stage, screen and vinyl.
In the "Vernal Equinox Special," Stewart ushers in spring, the Easter Bunny and April showers with some music from comedic songsters Allan Sherman, Jimmy Durante and Tom Lehrer.
