SkyTour

WHYY-FM's live, quarterly astronomy program SkyTour, airs once during each season of the year to help listeners understand another part of their world and allow WHYY to connect with its audience. Derrick Pitts, chief astronomer at the Franklin Institute, and 91FM's Dave Heller host the program.

SkyTour broadcasts are open to the public and telescopes are provided. However, those unable to travel can be part of the show by simply grabbing their phones and radios and stepping outside. Questions from callers will be answered on the air.
