WHYY TO BROADCAST ELECTION NIGHT COVERAGE ON TV12, 91FM AND WHYY.ORG

WHYY will broadcast up-to-the minute election results on Tuesday, November 5 beginning at 9:00 p.m. on TV12. Hosted by WHYY's Tracey Matisak and Marty Moss-Coane, host of 91FM's RADIO TIMES, coverage will also include commentary examining the impact the election will have on the Delaware Valley. Fox Philadelphia will provide the latest vote tallies and additional in-depth reporting.

WHYY's weekday news program DELAWARE TONIGHT, anchored by Nancy Karibjanian, will also provide coverage throughout the evening on high-profile "First State" elections, including Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr. and Ray Clatworthy's race for U.S. Senate.

Guests appearing live in WHYY's studios will include David Thornburg, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Economy League and Chris Satullo, Editorial Page Editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer. In cooperation with the Inquirer, a focus group consisting of members of the Citizen Voices project, representing the five-county region, will also be live in WHYY's studios to debrief the important issues for the newly elected Governor.

91FM will provide on-the-scene reports from both gubernatorial candidates' headquarters, as well as breaking news on Pennsylvania's 13th and 6th Congressional District races. On November 1 at noon and 6:00 p.m., 91FM will broadcast a special election program profiling all four candidates running for Pennsylvania Governor and feature reports on the New Jersey Senate race and Philadelphia's new voting machines.

A live stream of 91FM and TV12 election coverage can be viewed at www.whyy.org.
