Legislative/Political Producer, "First"
This temporary position, (now through June 30th, approximately 55 days of work), will lay the foundation for future Civic Voices projects in Delaware. The position will be responsible for creating a series of short on-camera interviews with member of the Delaware state legislature as on-line interstials aimed at informing the citizens of Delaware who the members of that governing body are and their role, work on civic engagements projects for Delaware's April Presidential primary and coordinate tv coverage during the primary. In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have television producing experience, preferably with a political/legislative focus, strong writing skills, familiarity with posting stories and video to the internet and familiarity with the key players and important issues in Delaware. A valid driver's license and access to a car is required.
